Future Active Participle
Introduction
To form the future active participle, we take the future stem and add the thematic default participle marker /οντ/. Because it is thematic, the masculine nominative singular is marked by /L:
λέγ/σ/οντ/L > λέξων (masculine nom. sing.)*
λέγ/σ/οντ/ > λέξον (neuter nom. sing.)*
λέγ/σ/οντ/ος > λέξοντος (masculine or neuter nom. sing.)
* τ drops because it can’t end a Greek word.

The feminine uses the /Jα/ marker:
λέγ/σ/οντ/Jα/ > λέξουσα (feminine nom. sing.)
λέγ/σ/οντ/Jα/Lς > λεξούσης (feminine gen. sing.)
