Future Middle Infinitive

Introduction

To make the future middle participle, simply add /εσθαι to the future stem. The last syllable of the base takes the accent:

          ἔσ/σ/εσθαι > ἔσσεσθαι (Homer) or ἔσεσθαι (Classical)*
          λάβ/σ/εσθαι > λήψεσθαι

* σσ becomes σ by geminate reduction.
